Weekend Warrior – We're "Diving" Into Subnautica

This weekend all the video editors are swimming around underwater, Dan Tack lies about a fancy meal he plans on eating, and I lie to myself about planning to clean the house. It sounds like a perfectly average weekend. What about you? Hopefully you’re doing something more exciting than the rest of us. Let us know in the comments.

Suriel Vazquez (@SurielVazquez) – I haven’t had a chance to start learning Sakura and Menat in Street Fighter V now that Arcade Edition is out, so I’m hopefully going to rectify that this weekend. I’m also going to play a lot of Destiny 2 for the first time in a while, since the ornaments for the New Monarchy outfit look real pretty!

Javy Gwaltney (@HurdyIV) – I’ll be reading a bunch of books, playing Pyre, and maybe finally going to see Jumanji and not being able to get out of the theater until a coworker rolls a 5 or 8.

Brian Shea (@BrianPShea) – This weekend, I’m continuing my playthroughs of Assassin’s Creed Origins, Pokémon Omega Ruby, and Final Fantasy X. Of course, I’ll always find time for Overwatch.

Daniel Tack (@dantack) – Culatello prosciutto, sopressata, bufala mozzarella, burrata, stone ground course mustard, Carolina Reaper sauce, jalapenos (fresh),  and an ice-cold Cheerwine.

Leo Vader (@leovader) – I’m eager to “dive in” to Subnautica. [Editor’s note: I asked Leo to take Weekend Warrior seriously next time. I just wanted to apologize here for his clearly dismissive attitude.]

Ben Hanson (@yozetty) – This weekend I’m just focused on playing more Subnautica on Steam. I’m really enjoying the game, it has fully scratched that Minecraft itch I forgot I had previously scratched… does that make sense? It’s an underwater survival-crafty thing, but really satisfying and a top-notch game to play while listening to podcasts. Enjoy the weekend!

Kyle Hilliard (@KyleMHilliard) – It’s not unbearably clod outside, so you know what that means – time to clean the inside of my car and garage! Yeah! I also plan on having a spotless house full of clean laundry by Sunday night. It’s definitely going to happen! In terms of video games, I want to check out the Metal Gear Survive beta and revisit Metal Gear Solid, Silent Hill, and Castlevania: Symphony of the Night on my Vita, as long as I can get them all to work properly.
