The crossover that not many could have predicted they wanted between Final Fantasy XV and Assassin’s Creed is coming to a close. Square Enix announced via Twitter that the Assassin’s Festival DLC will be ending on January 31.
The collaboration between teams from Ubisoft and Square Enix launched a full-scale DLC on August 31. Adding more than some assassin outfits for Noctis and the gang, the Assassin’s Festival also tweaked some of Final Fantasy XV’s mechanics to give some Assassin’s Creed flair into the Final Fantasy XV formula. Like the Chocobo Carnival before it, the Assassin’s Festival starts with Noctis and the gang heading to a local fair, but before long, the surprising scope of the Assassin’s Festival is revealed.
