Square Enix is bringing one of the greatest RPGs of all time to a new platform. Today, the company made the surprise announcement that Chrono Trigger is now available on Steam.
Chrono Trigger originally released on SNES in 1995, though it has been ported over the years to platforms like DS and iOS. The Steam version (which costs $15) appears to be based on the iOS iteration, since it retains parts of that interface.
Square Enix says this version also has updated graphics and sound, in addition to an autosave feature and support for controller and keyboard/mouse.
